About me

I was born in Lisbon, Portugal, and lived there until I was eight. Portugal will always feel like home — it’s where most of my family lives, and where I return at least once a year. When I was eight, my parents and I moved to Warsaw, Poland. It was there that I learned English and began developing a deep adaptability — learning how to connect with people from all backgrounds and create a sense of belonging wherever I went.

At 13, we moved back to Portugal briefly before relocating to Bogotá, Colombia when I was 16. This second culture shock felt different — I approached it with curiosity and openness, eager to learn. Living in Bogotá shaped me into someone who is empathetic, culturally aware, and deeply adaptable — a true global citizen.

Outside of work and school, I love to read — it’s when I feel most creative. Some of my favorite books are The Housemaid, The Silent Patient, The Light You Cannot See, and How To Make Friends and Influence People. I grew up playing competitive basketball, which taught me teamwork and grit, and I’ve always found joy in being active — hiking, walking, and skiing.

At 18, I moved to Boston to pursue my bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering at Northeastern University. Along the way, I completed a co-op as a Process Development Engineer at Solid Biosciences, worked as a Process Improvement Consultant at Boston Children’s Hospital, and interned as a Systems Engineer at Logoplaste. These experiences challenged and shaped me — teaching me resilience, time management, and the value of thoughtful systems thinking.

I’m a risk-taker at heart, but I balance that with strong organization and discipline. I love meeting new people, exploring new places, and continuing to grow. Currently, I’m pursuing my Master’s in Data Analytics — the next step in a lifelong journey of learning, curiosity, and impact.
